In today’s episode, I talk to self-improvement entrepreneur Dan Koe.

Dan is a former web designer turned content creator who runs the Modern Mastery HQ business community that helps creators and influencers monetize their following by harnessing digital economics.

This year, he’s projected to make $2.5 million dollars and runs his business almost entirely by himself—with just a little help from his video editor roommate and one other contractor.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn about monetizing a personal brand and running a business by yourself, you’ll love this episode.

In this conversation, you’ll enjoy 3 BIG things:

- How Dan scaled his earnings from $10k/year to $2.5M/year

- Why you don’t have to have the biggest following to bring in BIG money

- Plus the exact 4 hour workday schedule Dan lives by

Enjoy those 3 things… plus a bunch more ear nuggets along the way.

Lenny Rachitsky runs the #1 business newsletter on Substack, which is simply called lennysnewsletter.com.

Lenny has a REALLY interesting career path. He started off as an engineer, then decided to start his own business, which got acquired by Airbnb, where he stayed and worked for over 7 years until he quit to be his own boss again!

When Lenny left Airbnb to tinker with the different startup ideas, he was writing on the side to share his learnings. But then his writing started to gain a lot of traction online… and it became his MAIN hustle!

On an Indie Hackers post, he said the newsletter is making around $500k ARR, so I had to invite him over to hear about how he runs his one-person business.

In today’s episode, I talk to Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze.

Uri hated getting stuck in traffic, so he helped start a company called Waze to fix his problem. Google bought Waze in 2013 for over $1.1 billion dollars! But that wasn’t it for Uri — he invested in Moovit, another real-time transit app, which sold to Intel for another $1 billion dollars!

Check out Uri’s book, Fall In Love with the Problem, Not the Solution, to learn how to identify your consumers’ biggest problems and disrupt the markets that currently serve them.
